These medium duty coil winders are integrated with an AC Flux Vector Drive, which allows the machine to maintain constant torque. This machine is perfect for applications, which require extra high pulling power, and an infinitely variable speed range.
PRODUCT INFORMATION
(Available in Types: I, II & III)
These bi-directional machines consist of a single counting level. Hence, it can count accurately irrespective of direction (whether you are adding or subtracting turns). It has a counting capacity that ranges from 1 - 9,999 turn counts. It provides the best results when used for Three Phase Winding.
(Available in Types: I, II & III)
This bi-directional counter features an impressive 16 level preset counter. It can count from 1 up to 9,9999 turns per level. This means you can use the machine from one to 1599984 turns without hitting the reset button allowing you to maximize efficiency. It provides the best results when used for Single and Three Phase Winding.

These machines are integrated with flux vector drives that allow the operation to run smoothly. They ensure that the starting and stopping functionality is gradual. The machine has the capability of running from zero to full speed without any jerks. This function keeps any wires from breaking, and increases the service life span of the components.
The winding speed can be controlled with the help of a foot pedal or a potentiometer mounted on a panel located on the machine top. The foot pedal allows the user to accelerate and decelerate according to his requirements. On the other hand, the potentiometer allows the user to set a particular speed and have the machine run at that speed throughout the set numbers of turns. These features allow for precise repeatability of stop positions. If the user is controlling the speed using the potentiometer, he still has the option to use the foot pedal for emergencies or better control.
With programmed acceleration and deceleration rates, you can easily move from forward to reverse turning function. It takes only 0.2 seconds to move from forward to reverse turning.
The power train drive modules deliver high torque on demand.
The user has complete control of the turning process including acceleration, reverse, and speed.
The diameter of the faceplate measures 10″. It features four T-slots that are compatible with winding forms, fixtures, and heads of varying sizes.
The swing ranges from a height of 39-3/4″ to the center of the faceplate.
The braking functionality can be used even when the motor is producing maximum torque. With state-of-the-art machinery, the machine is able to produce accurate stopping.
The diameter of the shaft measures 1-3/8″, and can accept a bolt measuring 5/8″-11.
The anti-friction roller bearing pillow blocks are used to mount drive shafts. The pillow blocks are built accurately while providing self-aligning features.
These machines have the capacity to load up to 500 lbs. They can be integrated with ACE Model 65 Tailstock to double their capacity to 1000 lbs.
The mechanical and electrical components are housed within a heavy gauge formed metal cabinet. It allows for easy access to all equipment, and is helpful in quick maintenance.
With the help of gearing, the torque of the motor can be multiplied 9.5 times.
Modify the winder to meet your application’s speed and torque requirements.
Please specify line voltage when placing an order.
The flux vector drive motor is placed in a non-event C-Face mounted enclosure. For maximum safety, the vector drive controller is housed in a NEMA 1 type enclosure. It is equipped with a NEMA 4X-rated keypad.
